We support Policy S1 that development in Countryside locations will be restricted to ‘… utility services… • delivery of infrastructure; • renewable energy generation…’ as the policy recognises that water infrastructure is already located in the countryside and its upgrading and development should use existing sites and the embedded assets and carbon at those facilities.
